Atlantis police asks the community to share information anonymously about a murder which occurred on 31 January at 23:45 in Tsitsikama street, Ext 12, Atlantis. Myron John Lee Moses was shot several times and later succumbed to his injuries. The motive for this murder is unknown.

On 17 February at 07:30 in Hermes Avenue a 5-year-old child was run over and killed by a driver in a Green Opel Corsa.
