“I am committed to walking in obedience to my calling, no matter how long the journey takes.
So says Alex Avuyile, a 35-year-old gospel singer and worship leader from Atlantis.
“Every note I sing is a prayer, every song a testimony. I believe this is just the beginning, and with God’s help and the right support I will continue to grow into the full purpose he has for me in the gospel music ministry.”
Avuyile’s journey in gospel music began at the age of 8 at Sunday School.
“Since then music has remained the heartbeat of my faith and calling. Through every season of my life I have used my voice to glorify God and uplift others with messages of hope, healing and salvation.
“”My music carries personal testimony, spiritual encouragement and a deep longing to see lives transformed through the power of Jesus Christ.”
He released two gospel singles – “ngingumfokaazi” and “ewe jehova” and one full studio album, ujesu uhamba nam.
“These projects reflect a growing depth in worship and ministry. “God has placed an awesome responsibility in my heart; ministering through music full-time. “My journey has had challenges,” Avuyile said, “but my purpose remains clear: to spread the Gospel through authentic worship and original gospel music.
“I’m working to finalise and release my live gospel album early 2026.”
Avuyile is available for any churches, worship events, festivals and other events and can be contacted op 069 727 5080
