The Atlantis Special Economic Zone (ASEZ) was proud to present the second edition of the Atlantis Careers Expo, to date the only truly-significant event of its kind presented in the area, according to organiser Hlumela Nama.
She said the event built op the success of the inaugural one, serving as a dynamic platform where industry experts, training institutions and community stakeholders come together to showcase a wide range of opportunities, including full-time studies, internships, apprenticeships and international travel opportunities.
The Careers Expo is designed to inspire growth, broaden horizons and unlock potential for young people, job seekers and professionals looking to expand their career pathways, Nama said. Whether exploring one’s volgende career move, seeking formal training or wishing to connect with industry leaders, it promised valuable insights and connections that shaped futures. Selwyn Willoughby, IES Executive at ASEZ, said the Careers Expo was bridging the gap between education and opportunity, and equipping young people with information, connections and confidence to take their first steps towards building meaningful careers and pathways to success.
He concluded the Atlantis Careers Expo reflected ASEZ’s commitment to empowering communities, building skills and driving inclusive economic development. By connecting talent with opportunity the expo strengthened Atlantis’ position as a hub for innovation, industry and future-ready skills.
