The Kimberley Serious and Violent Crimes Unit is investigating a house robbery that occurred on Wednesday 1 July in Carters Glen, Kimberley, at approximately 04:50.
The victim was robbed of a substantial amount of money and his Ford Ranger bakkie at gunpoint by three unknown males wearing balaclavas.
The bakkie was later found abandoned on the R31, said Warrant Officer Molefi Sheman, police spokesperson.
Police are requesting the public to assist with information that may lead to the apprehension and arrest of the suspects.
