Remarkable women was inspired by the needs in our country, the suffering of the people, due to poor performance of state organs and the daily abuse off women, children and seniors, according to Donae September the local organiser. September answered some questions put to her by Weskus Nuus.
How did the concept of “Kingdom Custodians” shape the movement’s mission?
As a remarkable custodian, we take responsibility for our community by committing ourselves to develop and equip women through bringing change, healing and restoration to communities. We believe every woman has the power to rebuild her family, her community, and this nation.
What are the primary goals of Remarkable, and how do you plan to achieve them?
We are endeavoring to add value to communities through our weekly programme and the projects, for example our sanitary drives, senior santa shoebox, the work we do in the schools, the workshops we host, the feeding schemes,
How does Remarkable aim to impact the Western Cape, South Africa, and Africa spiritually?
We are being consistent in the projects and programmes we are doing. Remarkable has for the past 18 years been dedicated to restoring, repairing, and rebuilding the lives of women across the Western Cape and South Africa. We believe that women are the greatest influences and when she is changed she influences and affects those around her.
How does Remarkable plan to engage with the broader community beyond these services?
Remarkable has over 1 000 volunteers attending weekly support group meetings Remarkable has a strong influence and we will continue working with community stakeholders and community leaders.
How have participants or supporters responded to the movement?

What are the future plans for Remarkable, and how does it see itself evolving?

The vision is for Remarkable to partner with anyone in Africa and in the world who have the same passion and hearts for their City and Country. Remarkable will partner with those like-minded humanitarians.
