Kerria Primary School was officially opened op 1 July 1985, with the late MG Farmer as principal and eight teachers.
Before this, three teachers were transferred there from Berzelia Primary School in April that year.
Kerria plans a series of events to celebrate its 40th birthday, which kicked off op Monday 2 June, culminating in a gala event op 30 October.
These are as follows:
25 July 2025 – Hoisting of the flags and Kickoff for Learners
27 July 2025 – Thanksgiving
29 August 2025 – Modelling show (Mr and Miss Kerria )
30 August 2025 – Family Fun Day
26 September 2025 – Back to School Dance
3 October 2025 -Crazy Hat Day/(“Muntlegging”).
30 Oct 2025 – Gala evening
