Game 1: Victory Over CBC
CBC: 111 all out (20 overs) St Andrew’s College: 112/3 — won by 7 wickets
Rhys Wiblin produced a devastating spell of 4/4, dismantling CBC’s middle order and restricting their total. In reply, Connor Holder (30)* anchored the chase, while David Chorley (36 off 18)* finished in style.
A special moment marked the day as Thomas Bussiahn celebrated his 100th appearance for St Andrew’s College — an incredible milestone in his cricket journey.
Game 2: Victory Over Wise Owl
Wise Owl: 168/8 (20 overs) St Andrew’s College: 170/4 (18.5 overs) — won by 6 wickets
Batting first, Wise Owl posted a strong total, but College’s bowlers fought back. James Badenhorst (3/33) and Rhys Wiblin (3/42) led the attack, with the final three wickets falling for just 18 runs.
Chasing 169, Connor Holder (36 off 18) set the tone with a blistering start. Rhys Wiblin (42 off 35) added crucial runs, while Ben Scharges (47 off 34)* anchored the innings. The chase was ignited by David Chorley’s explosive over of 19 runs, including two towering sixes — one of the biggest of the tournament. Callum Taggart (18 off 7) sealed the win with a flurry of boundaries.
