Batting first, College posted 106 all out, with Rhys Wiblin (37 off 37) top‑scoring in determined fashion. Wickets fell steadily through the middle overs, leaving College with a modest total to defend.
Fighting Spirit in the Field
Despite the small target, College’s bowlers and fielders gave everything, applying early pressure and stretching the chase into the 19th over. Maritzburg eventually reached the target, but not without being tested by College’s relentless fight.
Tournament Achievement
St Andrew’s College finished 3rd overall, an excellent achievement for the 1st XI. The team can be proud of how they represented the College both on and off the field throughout the tour.
