This Saturday at the Suzuki Stadium in Kimberley, AVBOB Griquas Women clash with the Limpopo Blue Bulls in round three of the Pick n Pay Women’s Super League 2.

Provincial finals of men’s teams follow, with Sol Plaatje University taking on Sishen in Super League A at 15:00, while Young Stars from Port Nolloth and Kakamas meet at 13:00 to decide this year’s winner in Super League B.

The Saturday clash between Griquas Women and Limpopo kicks off at 11:00 (the time was changed). On the same day and as part of the Women’s Super League, the Leopards Women host the Hollywoodbets Pumas Women in Potchefstroom, while the Valke and Griffons meet in Kempton Park.

In round one, the Pumas Women beat Griquas 67-29, and the Northern Cape side will be looking to set things straight. In that match, many Griquas players who are students at Sol Plaatje University were not able to play because they were at the University Sports South Africa (USSA) event.

Super League 2 features seven provincial teams

The Pick n Pay Women’s Super League 2 kicked off on 4 July, with the final set for 22 August.

This B-division league gives developing and smaller provincial unions the chance to play at their own level.

While this second-tier season runs later in the year, starting in early July and wrapping up in late August, the Pick n Pay Women’s Super League 1 (formerly the Women’s Premier Division) kicks off earlier, typically starting in February and running through spring.

This top-tier provincial tournament features professional and semi-professional squads, including the Isuzu Bulls Daisies and DHL Western Province.

The Isuzu Bulls Daisies are the 2026 Pick n Pay Women’s Super League 1 champions, claiming their fourth consecutive title after defeating the Sanlam Boland Dames 36-15 in the final at Loftus Versfeld in Pretoria.
