This policeman can shoot exceptionally well

Constable Thurston Bailey from Atlantis police station participated in the 50th annual South African Rifle Association Championship.

The championship was held at the Gen De Wet shooting range in Bloemfontein this year. Bailey, who wants to become a sharp shooter in the police, made Atlantis proud with his performance, said station commander Col Mario Thyse.

The B-Class shooter secured three second-place medals at INTERFORCES-SAPS: 100 m Snap, 300 m mixed and 300 m sustained. In the International category, he received two 3rd place medals in the 300 m mixed and 300 m sustained. Thyse said Constable Bailey is a committed and driven member of his team and has lauded Bailey for participating in the 50th Annual South African Combat Rifle Association Championship, where he did exceptionally well.
