St Andrew’s College kicked off at 4:00 pm at Rat Park Club Ground against St Augustine’s College in what proved to be a thrilling and hard‑fought contest.
College found itself under pressure early, conceding two converted tries and facing a daunting deficit. St Andrew’s College, Makhanda, Australia Tour Match 3: Entle Ngcaba’s powerful carry broke the defensive line before he delivered a superb offload to Ross Faber, who crossed for College’s opening try. David Chorley added the conversion to narrow the gap.
Sustained pressure inside St Augustine’s 22 soon paid off as James Badenhorst powered over for another try. Chorley’s second successful conversion sent College into halftime brimming with confidence and firmly back in the contest.
Halftime changes proved decisive. College controlled possession far better in the second half, showing patience and composure with the ball. Their dominance was rewarded when Noah Stowe crossed for two well‑earned tries, both converted by Chorley, stretching the lead.

With five minutes remaining, St Augustine’s mounted one final attack and looked certain to score, but College’s defensive effort was outstanding, holding firm under immense pressure to preserve the 28–21 victory.
