St Andrew’s College, Makhanda, took to the field in Sydney for their second tour match against St Pius X College, Chatswood. Once again, the team was buoyed by the presence of parents, families, Old Andreans, and friends. OA Andrew Ward (Espin House) added a special touch as match official.
St Pius opened with early intensity, crossing the line within minutes to lead 5–0. College struck back immediately through an intercept try by Caleb Pennington, before Entle Ncaba extended the advantage with another well‑worked score before halftime.
The second half showcased teh St Andrew’s College depth, as fresh legs injected pace and precision. Running rugby flourished, errors diminished, and the scoreboard reflected a dominant all‑round performance. Tries from Avumile Bangazi, Aphiwe Tintelo, Imi Qotoyi, Liam Nurse, and Ross Faber sealed a convincing 41–22 victory.
