Grey College, Bloemfontein, proudly celebrates the outstanding achievements of its junior karate stars at the recent Shotokan Karate Championships.

• Casey Schoeman (Grade 1A2, Age 6): Triple gold in Kata, Kihon Kumite, and Kumite, crowned with the Best Overall 6‑Year Trophy.
• Janru Smit (Grade 1A2, Age 7): Bronze in Kata.
• Joe Malherbe (Grade 1A3, Age 7): Silver in Kata, bronze in Kihon Kumite, and silver in Kumite.
• Benje van Straaten (Grade 1A1, Age 7): Double gold in Kihon Kumite and Kumite, awarded the Best Overall 7‑Year Trophy.
