From Mix-Up to Victory. What began as a near disaster turned into a day of triumph! A scheduling mix-up almost caused Wilgehof Primary’s Grade 7 learners to miss the Performing Arts Competition. In true last‑minute fashion, they arrived just in time to catch the final group’s performance.

Despite the adrenaline, the rush, and the nerves, the learners rose to the occasion and proudly claimed First Place in Group Poetry. Their resilience, confidence, and ability to shine under pressure made this achievement even more remarkable.

The journey continues: Wilgehof Primary will now represent MMED at the District Finals on Friday, 28 August, at Dr C.F. Visser Primary. A thrilling milestone that showcases their talent and determination.
