Union High School, Graaff-Reinet, proudly congratulates its Gr 7 swimmer. Daniel Davenport shone at Port Elizabeth Amateur Swimming. His dedication and talent were celebrated at the Port Elizabeth Amateur Swimming Prizegiving.
Daniel was named Fastest Swimmer in the 12-year age group and collected an impressive array of trophies. It includes the Oddy Cup (50m Freestyle), Jacobs Trophy (50m Backstroke), Kings Cup (50m Butterfly), Teddy Wells Cup (200m Individual Medley), and more.
His season highlights include:
- Top rankings: 1st at PEA Swimming Club, 5th in Nelson Mandela Bay Aquatics, 6th in Eastern Cape Aquatics.
- National standing: 69th among 300+ South African swimmers in his age group.
- SA Level 3 Championships: Bronze (100m Freestyle), Silver (200m Individual Medley), Bronze (4×50m Medley Relay).
