Maritzburg College Canoeing delivered two weekends of outstanding performances, marked by teamwork, resilience, and sporting excellence.

Canoe Polo | 1–2 August. College stormed to victory, claiming 1st place with the formidable team of J. Gotte, N. Curry, J. Worthmann, M. Rawson, F. Venniker and B. Gotte, who lifted the title after a superb campaign.

KZN Interprovincial River Championships | 8–9 August. On the Tugela River, J. Gotte secured 2nd place in U18, while J. Cairns claimed 3rd in U14. E. Pauls, B. Gore, J. Harley and N. Mkatini proudly represented College, with A. Malima & R. Weiss finishing 4th in K2.

A remarkable fortnight for College Canoeing, underscoring the dedication of the athletes and the guidance of MIC Bridgitte Hartley. Congratulations to all involved in advancing the sport.
