Maritzburg College canoeists continue to make waves on both the national and international stage. Special congratulations to J. Gotte, who proudly represented South Africa at the ICF Junior & U23 Slalom and Kayak Cross World Championships in Kraków, Poland, competing in both Kayak Cross and Slalom.
Maritsburg also celebrates K. Vogt for an outstanding series of performances, claiming multiple titles at the KZN Marathon Championships and SA Marathon Championships, including victories in the U18 K1 (Long and Short Course), U18 K2 and Senior K2 events.
N. Curry impressed at the KZN Marathon Championships before claiming first place in the U18 category at the prestigious Berg River Canoe Marathon – a demanding 240 km, four-day race held from Paarl to Velddrif in the Western Cape.
Maritzburg College is immensely proud of our canoeists for representing the Red, Black and White with distinction.
