Clifton School Shines proudly as it celebrates an outstanding achievement at the 2026 South Africa Senior History Olympiad (HOZA). Competing against 1 177 entrants from 88 schools nationwide, its boys demonstrated excellence, commitment, and passion for history.
National Team Achievements

- Top Independent School in South Africa
- Most Participants from an Independent School in South Africa
- Third Highest Number of Participants of Any School in South Africa

The Clifton gents also excelled individually, earning remarkable honours:
- Third Overall in South Africa – Mohammed Mujahid Hansa
- Gold Certificate (Top 5%) – George Gooch, Hayden Smith, Kaylen Naidoo, Sohan Naidoo
- Silver Certificate (Top 10%) – Benjamin Gooch, Declan Jackson, Luke Raubenhiemer
- Bronze Certificate (Top 15%) – Rhys Richardson
