EASTERN CAPE – Police in Willowvale have launched a manhunt for suspects following the murder of a 66-year-old woman at her home in the Nkozweni locality.
The victim, identified as Nomasomi Gela, was found with gunshot wounds to her upper body at her homestead in Dadamba Administrative Area.
According to police spokesperson Captain Majola Nkohli, officers were called to the scene at around 11:30 on Monday, 13 April.
“On arrival, police found the body of the victim with gunshot wounds to the upper body. The circumstances surrounding the incident are still unclear,” said Nkohli.
Police are appealing to anyone with information that could assist in the investigation or lead to the arrest of the suspects to come forward.
