SAPS customer satisfaction survey under way in the Northern Cape

A customer satisfaction survey is currently being conducted across the Northern Cape by the South African Police Service’s (SAPS) National Research Component.

Members of the research team, led by Colonel (Dr) Avhashoni Madzivhandila, will be in Kimberley and Galeshewe from 7 to 10 July, after which they will proceed to Upington to continue the survey.

The purpose of the survey is to assess public perceptions of SAPS services and to evaluate the effectiveness of service delivery within communities.

Findings from the survey will assist the organisation in enhancing service delivery, improving responsiveness to community needs, and strengthening public confidence in the SAPS as it strives to create a safe and secure environment for all, said Colonel Cherelle Ehlers, police spokesperson in the Northern Cape.

The survey focuses on key service delivery areas, including overall customer service, police visibility, response times, the quality of investigations, and the professionalism of SAPS members.

Members of the public are encouraged to participate in the survey, which will be conducted at selected shopping malls.

Community members can also share their feedback through the MySAPS App and the Rate Our Service App.
