KIMBERLEY – An unforgettable night of laughter and entertainment with some of the best comedians in the country awaits with the Diamonds and Dorings Comedy Show, set to take place on Thursday 2 April in Kimberley.

Raasbek Nosi, a comedy star from this area, will be one of the comedians on stage. She is known as a master of punchlines and crowd entertainment. Raasbek is also known for high-energy performances.

You’ll also be entertained by Celeste Ntuli, who is known for her sharp wit and relatable humour. She is a South African comedian and actress, and is popularly referred to as the queen of the Zulu comedy. Also, she is known for being the first local female comic to record a one woman show DVD.

Joey Rasdien, a comedy powerhouse with a unique storytelling style, will also take the stage. He is described as the face of a new generation of South African comedy. His endearing stage persona is intellectually absurd, physically hysterical and visually beside himself. This belies his other profession… high-level fund management.

Shanray van Wyk will bring a fresh perspective and hilarious anecdotes. He is a bilingual stand-up comedian and his witty humour and comedic timing have earned him a reputation as one of the country’s up-and-coming superstars in the comedy space.

Tsitsi Chiumya, a rising star with infectious energy, will also keep the laughs rolling. He inspires laughter to audiences nationwide and some parts of the world with his “awkwardly relatable stories.” 

This diverse lineup offers something for everyone, making it the perfect outing for friends, family, or a date night.

• The comedy show takes place from 19:30 to 22:30 at the Northern Cape Theatre and Recording Studios in Kimberley, located at Cullinan Crescent.
