A successful new wedding expo hosted by Salt and Sage Photography is set to become an annual event after attracting strong support from couples and local businesses.
It was held at Blue Bay Lodge in Saldanha on Saturday 1 August.
Entitled “The Wedding Affair”, the expo was created to connect engaged couples with trusted wedding suppliers while promoting the West Coast as a wedding destination.
Rushé Kotzé, owner of Salt and Sage Photography, said “The Wedding Affair” was a God-inspired idea. “I give all the glory to God for how phenomenally the event came together. My heart was to create more opportunities for our local wedding industry while giving brides and grooms a welcoming space to find guidance and inspiration.”
Around 30 businesses participated, showcasing the region’s wedding talent and services. Visitors praised the atmosphere, variety of exhibitors and generous prizes.
Following the positive response, Kotzé confirmed that the expo will return next year. “We intend to make next year’s expo even bigger and better, while continuing to support couples and create opportunities for local exhibitors.”
