The West Coast Lupus Warriors will be having their first Lupus Awareness Fun Walk op Saturday 30 May. They hope to educate as many people as possible. According to Bridgitte Makan, one of the warriors and a resident of Saldanha, educating around lupus is important, as many, especially children, are being diagnosed. The 5 km will start at 08:00 at the Hoedjiesbaai Hotel in Saldanha, and registration will commence at 07:00. Makan said the day will be filled with positivity and fun and encourages everyone to participate. Dress in purple and make a difference.
