Police are appealing to the public for information that could help them locate Mokhoele Daniel Ngakane, a resident of Platberg Informal Settlement near Ladybrand, in connection with two assault cases.
The Ladybrand police is seeking Ngakane as a person of interest who may assist investigators probing two cases of assault with intent to cause grievous bodily harm.
The first incident occurred in August, when a complainant was struck on the shoulder with an object. The victim was treated at a local hospital.
In the second incident, a foreign national identified only as David became involved in a fight with another person on Church Street in Ladybrand after a funeral service.
The complainant in that incident was struck on the legs with a wooden stick and was also treated at a local hospital.
Police said the suspects involved in both cases remain at large.

Members of the public are urged not to approach or confront anyone they believe may be linked to the cases, but to provide information directly to the police.
