Heilbron police are searching for a suspect only known as Dibabo after a woman (28) reported that he allegedly raped her in the early hours of Monday 19 October.

According to police, the woman was in bed with her boyfriend at about 01:30 when she woke up to use the toilet.

As she reached the bathroom, she allegedly encountered her boyfriend’s friend. The suspect allegedly ordered her to keep quiet, dragged her away and covered her mouth before raping her.

After the alleged attack, he reportedly instructed her to wash herself and then accompanied her to her home.

The woman only reported the incident at Heilbron Police Station after the suspect had left, according to police.

Members of the Local Criminal Record Centre attended the scene and recovered a piece of cloth that the suspect allegedly used to wipe himself.

The woman was interviewed in the police station’s victim friendly room before being taken to a local hospital for a medical examination.

The suspect remains at large as police continue their investigation.
