Police in Gauteng are investigating the murder of 14-year-old twin boys who were stabbed to death at their home in Mamelodi West, Tshwane.
The boys were found dead in a bedroom on Friday afternoon after their mother returned from work. Both had multiple stab wounds.
Gauteng police spokesperson Dimakatso Nevhuhulwi said the circumstances surrounding the deaths remain unknown.
“No one has been arrested at this stage. Police investigations are underway,” Nevhuhulwi said.
The mother discovered her sons’ bodies when she arrived home from work. Police were called to the scene in Mamelodi West where they found the twins inside the bedroom.
Police have not yet established a motive for the killings or identified any suspects. The investigation continues.
