PEP reaffirmed its commitment to empowering young girls through sport this past weekend. They hosted a lively PEP mini Netball Festival at Laerskool Wynland in Worcester on 1 August. The event brought together enthusiastic players from participating schools for a fun-filled day of learning, teamwork, and netball.
From 08h00 to 13h00, young athletes engaged in interactive activities and friendly matches. The girls enjoyed a supportive environment. It was designed to sharpen their skills, build confidence, and nurture a lifelong love for the game.
In celebration of Women’s Month, the festival highlighted the importance of creating opportunities for girls to grow through sport while inspiring confidence, leadership, and teamwork from an early age.
As part of the nationwide PEP mini Netball program, these festivals continue to strengthen grassroots netball and empower the next generation of girls to aim high.
