Congratulations to all tutor groups of St Andrew’s College, Makhanda, for their outstanding achievements in the Trinity Term 2026 Work Trophies. Scores are calculated by aggregating effort symbols, with 100 points equal to an average of 3 symbols and a maximum of 300.
Grade 8
The Grade 8s showed remarkable improvement, with three houses surpassing 200 points. Upper House set a new grade record with 219.5 points, securing the trophy.
Grade 9
A nail-biting contest saw less than three points separate the top three houses. Espin House emerged victorious, earning their first Work Trophy since 2023.
Grade 10
Although below their usual high-scoring form, Grade 10 still delivered strong performances. Merriman House broke Upper House’s seven-term streak to claim the trophy.
Grade 11
Grade 11 produced excellent effort symbols, with the top two houses separated by just over a point. Graham House ended Mullins House’s five-term winning run.
Grade 12
The Matrics rose to the challenge, averaging an impressive 204.6. Armstrong House extended their dominance with an eighth consecutive win and a record 235.4 points.
Overall Achievement
With a record-breaking average of 200.9, Armstrong House claimed the overall Work Trophy. A resounding well done to all houses for their dedication and effort!
