Treverton College, Mooi River, KZN proudly congratulates Grade 8 pupil Luca Garella on his outstanding performance at the SHF Living World Cup Qualifier, hosted at Maxwell’s Equestrian Centre from 3–6 September.
Competing alongside Casrix’s Dianthus Amurensis (Andy), Luca entered the demanding Junior/Adult 90 cm classes across three consecutive days—Thursday, Friday, and Saturday. Together, horse and rider successfully started and completed every class, demonstrating consistency, resilience, and skill.
The highlight of their campaign came on Friday. Luca and Andy delivered a superb ride to claim 4th place in the 90 cm Competition in Two Phases. This achievement reflects Luca’s unwavering commitment, courage, and determination. It also reflects the remarkable partnership she continues to build with Andy.
Treverton College celebrates this milestone with immense pride, recognizing Luca as an inspiring example of perseverance and sporting excellence.
