Bloemfontein – Grey College’s Grade 10 and 11 learners studying German have embarked on an enriching cultural and educational tour of Europe.

The group arrived in Berlin on Tuesday, marking the start of their journey through Poland, Austria, and southern Germany. The highlight of the tour will be their participation in an exchange program with the prestigious Hegel Gymnasium in Stuttgart. Learners will stay with host families, offering them a unique opportunity to experience German school and family life first‑hand.

The tour will conclude in München, where students will reflect on their immersive journey that has broadened their horizons and strengthened international ties. Grey College celebrates this initiative as a vital step in fostering global citizenship and cultural understanding among its learners.
