Eunice High School proudly celebrates a weekend of outstanding swimming success at the 2026 Waterkloof Invitational Gala. The combined Eunice and Grey College teams delivered performances marked by determination, teamwork, and true sportsmanship.
With a formidable squad of 39 swimmers — 20 from Eunice and 19 from Grey — the teams faced strong opposition from Waterkloof, Potchefstroom Gimnasium, and Sentraal, all fielding both A and B teams.
The combined Eunice/Grey A team claimed 1st place overall, while the Eunice/Grey B team secured 5th place. This underscores the partnership’s depth of talent. Together, the swimmers achieved an impressive 32 first‑place finishes, 19 second‑place finishes, and 11 third‑place finishes, highlighted by both individual brilliance and exceptional relay performances.
Beyond the medal tally, the gala showcased the strength of the Eunice/Grey collaboration. Swimmers rallied behind one another, raced with pride, and embodied the values of commitment and unity that define their schools.
Congratulations to all the athletes for their dedication and success, and heartfelt thanks to coach JP Seyffert and the team managers for their guidance and support. This victory stands as a testament to the power of teamwork and shared excellence.
