The Eunice U14A hockey team will proudly represent Eunice High School at the prestigious 2026 U14 Girls Top 12 Schools Hockey Tournament in Stellenbosch from 7–10 August. Hosted by Rhenish Girls’ High School, the event will see South Africa’s top 12 qualifying schools battle for national honours.
At 11:00 today, the Eunice U14A hockey team departs for the Western Cape, carrying the hopes of Eunice with them. Adding to the excitement, Olympian hockey star and Eunice Old Girl (Class of 2021) Kayla Swarts made a surprise visit to inspire the players. Her words of encouragement and willingness to answer every question gave the team a powerful boost ahead of the competition.
We extend heartfelt thanks to Kayla for her time and support, and we wish coach Ms May‑Louise Stassen, manager Ms Thuli Nyuswa, and each player the very best as they take on this challenge.
