Cape Town – Curro Durbanville High School proudly celebrates the remarkable achievements of Grade 11 learner Cendra Carroll, whose outstanding performances have elevated both her school and province to national prominence.

At the prestigious SA Women’s 72‑Hole Team Championship, hosted at East London Golf Club, Cendra delivered a masterclass of composure and skill. Opening with a brilliant 1‑over‑par 74, she secured 8th place overall in the fiercely competitive combined individual leaderboard. Her steady play and leadership proved pivotal in guiding the Western Province B team to a spectacular 2nd‑place podium finish nationwide.

This national success crowns an extraordinary season. Earlier this year, Cendra played a decisive role in helping Curro Durbanville clinch the Western Province School League Golf title, earning promotion to the A Division for 2027. Alongside teammate Kaitlyn Rix, she represented Western Province at the National Schools Competition, where the duo captured the National Championship title and delivered the second‑best schools total in South Africa. Individually, Cendra impressed further with a 3rd‑place national finish.

From dominant school league victories to shining on the highest national stage, Cendra Carroll’s dedication, talent, and team‑first spirit continue to inspire pride across the Curro family and the Western Province community.
