Congratulations to Brent Cowden and Matthew Hume of Bishops Diocesan College, Cape Town, who achieved an extraordinary feat by placing 1st in South Africa out of approximately 3,000 participants in the prestigious Coronation SA Top Investor Challenge.
Tasked with managing a fictitious R1 million investment portfolio over two months, the duo navigated complex, real-world investment scenarios to rise to the top of the national leaderboard.
Their outstanding performance earned each learner R30 000 in unit trusts, while Bishops proudly received the challenge trophy and a R60 000 donation.
A special thank you goes to Coronation CEO and Bishops past parent, Mr Anton Pillay, who presented the awards at assembly this morning.
