Melkbosstrand High School proudly celebrates the phenomenal achievements of star swimmer Ava Lorenzen, whose breathtaking performances lit up the CANA Zone 4 Swimming Championships in Botswana.
Ava proved unstoppable in the pool, delivering an extraordinary medal haul across individual and relay events:
- Gold Medals – 800m Freestyle, 100m Backstroke, 200m Breaststroke, 50m Backstroke, 200m Butterfly, 200m Individual Medley, plus four relay victories.
- Silver Medals – 200m Backstroke, 100m Butterfly, 100m Breaststroke.
- Bronze Medal – 50m Breaststroke.
Ava Lorenzen’s dominance across strokes and distances showcased not only her versatility but also her relentless drive for excellence. To cap off her outstanding campaign, Ava earned the prestigious Victrix Ludorum title in her age group, affirming her status as the competition’s leading female swimmer.
