The Nelson Mandela Bay Municipality would like to inform
residents, stakeholders and businesses within the areas of Greenbushes, St
Albans and New Brighton that there will be a planned water cut off today,
Thursday, June 24, to carry out maintenance work.
The maintenance work forms part of the metro’s efforts to
reduce water losses and improve the water distribution system.
Water will be shut off today from approximately 08:00-16:00.
The affected areas are:
Greenbushes, St Albans area and Prison;
Kuyga, Waterkloof, Ericadene, Farms PE;
Swinburne, Parkholme, Poplar Grove, The Valleys;
Chelsea, Mushroom Farm, Chelsea Reservoir, Lake Farm;
The Flats, Oshry, Windomayne, Bridgemeade;
Colleen Glen, Beachview, Clarendon Marine, Royalston and
The Camp, Stone Kraal and Goedemoedsfontein East.
Water will also be shut down on Saturday, June 26 from 08:00-16:00
in:
Kwaford, New Brighton, New Brighton Police Station;
Empilweni TB Hospital;
Algoa Bus Depot Struanway and
Struandale Wastewater Depot, Ford Struanway Plant and Isuzu
Struanway Plant.
