SCHOOL’S out and The Boardwalk is in! Young ones are a priority these school holidays, with a fun-filled lineup of activities tailor made to entice and entertain them.
Bring the children and their friends to The Boardwalk’s retail area where there’s a vibrant holiday craft centre. Activities take place until September 29, every Friday, Saturday and Sunday from 12:00 to 15:00 and best of all, entrance is free.
“There are loads of super activities including face painting, live entertainment, a magic show, a balloon twister, a living statue and temporary tattoos. It is all about kids and all about fun during the school break,” said Nqobile Qupe, Marketing Manager of The Boardwalk.
In addition to these free activities, parents can consider purchasing holiday packages for their children. For just R120, children can enjoy eight full hours of jam-packed entertainment and some light snacks. There is also a four–hour package available for R60 per child.
Entertainment and activities included in these packages include indoor activities, a jumping castle, kiddies movies, kids race games and indigenous games in addition to all the other free entertainment at the craft centre.
