WHEN Port Elizabeth friends Rochelle Godwin and Tracey Wright were invited to spend two weeks in England with Wright’s mother, they decided to have a bit of fun with it before they left the country.
For the 100 days before jetting off, they decided to start a countdown, marking the days with a photo.
“Every time we get together we do a new photo with a different number.
“Always trying to stay original, but sometimes its very difficult as we are together so often,” Wright said.
“Baywest Mall has been the host to many, many of our photos. From the bumper cars numbers, snooker balls, Lego, Ben 10, ice hockey jersey number, even all gold tomato sauce (our number 36) has made an appearance.”
Throughout the days, they’ve had many people ask them on Facebook and at work what they are planning for the next photo, as well as requests to be part of their next number.
Wright and Godwin left for the UK on Monday, May 13, sans husbands and children, and will surely continue making more memories during their trip.
