MOTHERWELL NU 12-based side, Camper United, added a point to their league tally when they faced EC Celtics in a SAFA Nelson Mandela Bay SAB Regional League game at Motherwell NU 11 Stadium on Saturday.

Camper could not afford to succumb to the newcomers, as they took the game to the Kariega boys.

Celtics also threw everything into the game. It was an attractive game as both sides went in search of their opening goal.

The tempo of the game was very fast but no side conceded unnecessary mistakes at the crucial areas of the park.

The goalkeepers did not have a lot to do, as the battle took place in the middle of the field.

Ultimately, both coaches were pleased to see their sides playing to a goalless draw, as it was a true reflection of the game.

Port Elizabeth FC rubbed salt into the wounds of the relegation candidates, PE Sundowns when they handed them a 3-1 defeat at Hearts Fields in Summerstrand on Saturday.

Amachina, as Young Teenagers are affectionately called by their supporters, hammered Golden Aces 5-1 at Veeplaas Turf Stadium on Saturday as well.
