Deputy
Minister in the Presidency, Pinky Kekana, will today, July 12, visit two health facilities in Nelson Mandela Bay, namely Livingstone Hospital and Dora Nginza Hospital.
The
purpose of these visits will be to gain insight into service delivery issues at
the two hospitals, as well as to interact with both the healthcare
providers and community members in Gqeberha.
During the visit, Minister Kekana will also monitor and assess measures being implemented to integrate
COVID-19 management into routine service hospital services. This is in keeping with the National
Development Plan (NDP) 2030 vision of the health system that works for everyone
and produces health outcomes.
