A body of a man was found yesterday in the road at Van Stadens Pass between Gqeberha and Humansdorp.
According to police spokesperson, Colonel Priscilla Naidu, it is alleged that on Wednesday, July 12, SAPS Kabega Park attended to a murder scene at Van Stadens Pass.
“The body of an unknown man, that is approximately 35 years old, was lying in the middle of the road.
“There was a gunshot wound to the back of his head. The deceased was fully clothed with his bag next to him”, said Naidu.
A murder case is under investigation.
