There will literally be fireworks when KFC T20I action comes to Dafabet St George’s Park on Tuesday, December 12, when the Proteas face up against India as part of the Freedom Series tour.
“When two of the world’s best T20 teams come head-to-head in the iconic Dafabet St Georges Stadium, the birthplace of international cricket in South Africa, we are bound see thrilling cricket” says Dr Mark Williams of Mega Sportz NPC, Stadium Management company.
Fireworks will be primed to mark boundaries, and the band will be adding to the atmosphere.
Fans should be able to see local heroes Dafabet Warriors captain Matthew Breetzke and players Marco Jansen and Tristan Stubbs in action against the Indian squad during this tour.
“The game starts at five, which will give those who are working a chance to be part of the action, and the ticket office will be open this weekend from 9am-3pm on Saturday and Sunday. Tickets are selling really well and we advise those who have not yet bought tickets not to miss out on the opportunity.”
A reminder to all fans to check the Ticketpros website for the restricted and prohibited items list. Traffic flow will be one directional around the stadium.
Fans can also purchase tickets for the one day international to be played on Tuesday, December 19.
