A stationery drive for the learners of Fontein Primary School in Gelvandale will be held by students from The IIE’s Varsity College Nelson Mandela Bay on campus from February 12 to 16.

Once the first years have participated in the initiative, the broader student body will have the opportunity to match or exceed the first year’s contribution.

Erin Gouws, fourth year IIE Bachelor of Education in Intermediate Phase Teaching, and VC Voice School of Education Representative at The IIE’s Varsity College Nelson Mandela Bay said,

Every learner deserves to have access to a variety of stationery items, as this could make them to feel in control of their learning and add fun to their learning process. I know we will come together as a student body and achieve the stationery drive’s goal.
