After 75 years of building relationships one customer at a time, Tavcor Motor Group is celebrating its diamond anniversary the way it knows best, by bringing the party directly to the communities that have supported its journey from a small North End dealership to one of South Africa’s most respected automotive groups.
This weekend, Tavcor is hosting two major celebratory events that perfectly encapsulate the company’s community-first philosophy that has sustained it since 1950.
On Saturday, November 29 from 09:00 to 13:00, Tavcor is simultaneously hosting “The Great Car-nival” at Tavcor Volkswagen and Audi Centre Nelson Mandela Bay, creating a festival atmosphere that showcases both the company’s automotive heritage and its commitment to family-friendly community engagement.
The celebrations will unfold at various dealerships around the country:
- Tavcor Volkswagen and Audi Centre Nelson Mandela Bay
- Tavcor VW George
- Tavcor Suzuki Mossel Bay
- Tavcor Suzuki Knysna & VW Knysna
Each location will feature an impressive array of attractions including test drives of the latest models, displays of new and used vehicles from Tavcor’s diverse brand portfolio (Volkswagen, Audi, Suzuki, Renault, BAIC, JAC, MG, and Jetour), and special vintage and classic car exhibitions that tell the story of South Africa’s automotive evolution alongside Tavcor’s own journey.
The celebration continues on Sunday, November 30 with the Tavcor Trail Run at Tavcor Volkswagen William Moffett, running from 07:00 to 12:00.
Gqeberha community members will have an opportunity to explore the scenic Baakens Valley through three different trail distances: 5km, 12km, and 17km options.
