THE Feather Market Organ Society of Port Elizabeth will present its 11th music educational open day for schools in the Feather Market Centre on May 10 at 11:00.
The purpose of the popular annual event is to introduce learners to the pipe organ in the centre, as well as to other musical instruments, choral singing, the orchestra, dance and classical music, in general.
Commentary will be in English, Afrikaans and Xhosa. Schools are welcome to send up to 30 interested learners from Grade 6 to Grade 12 with one or two teachers to the event.
Admission is free. Each learner will also be given snacks after the concert. The concert will start at 11:00 and end at approximately 12:10.
