AFTER a devastating fire in Walmer Township’s Area Q left more than 80 people homeless recently, Build it Eastern Cape has stepped in to offer their support to the community.

As a key player in the Port Elizabeth community, Build it will donate towards the much needed materials, to help rebuild the homes damaged in the fire.

Build it Eastern Cape is also encouraging their Port Elizabeth stores to deliver timber, roof sheeting, paint and plumbing materials to show their consolidated support in light of the tragedy.

Build it appeals to the community at large to join this initiative by showing their support and donating what they can to help the stricken community.

Some of the items needed include warm clothing, bedding, food and any basic household goods, as well as building materials. These can be dropped off at Build it Plus Tony’s, on the corner of Buffelsfontein and 17th Avenue, Charlo, for delivery into Area Q.
