FOLLOWING the long layoff of the season, ABC Motsepe League will host its first games of the year on January 10 and 11.
A local derby between Swartkopsvalley United Brothers (SUBS) and Highbury FC will take place at Motherwell NU 2 Stadium on Friday evening at 18:00. Other local side Sibanye FC will host Mthatha Bucks at Gelvan Stadium on Friday at 18:00.
Peace Makers will face arch-rivals, PE Stars, at Wolfson Stadium on Saturday at 15:00. Bisho Stars FC are set to take on Amavarara FC at Ginsberg Sports Field in King William’s Town on Saturday at 15:00, while Birmingham City FC will lock horns with Bizana Pondo Chiefs at Gompo Sports Field in East London, also at 15:00.
Yaka United will play against Bush Bucks at Mt Ayliff Stadium at 15:00. Spear of the Nation will greet the gutsy Matta Milan at Kwabulala Sports Field in Mbizana, also starting on Saturday at 15:00. – SELBY MADIKANE
