NEWLY formed Zakhele Football Association (ZAFA) side, Bay City FC, are working very hard to fulfil their dreams of winning the ZAFA First Division League trophy in their very first season.
“One City One Future”, as Bay City FC are fondly called by their supporters, had drawn a programme that would see them winning the prestigious league during the 2020 ZAFA First Division League season.
Deputy chairperson, Lonwabo Sambane, informed PE Express that they were working around the clock to win the league trophy during their first season.
Sambane said, “Our players will train in numbers to boost their confidence after the nationwide lockdown.
“Our boys are united.
“These boys are looking forward to winning the league trophy during our first campaign in the ZAFA First Division League. Our management team have crafted a programme that will help us to be a winning team.
“We will look for more players and a technical team to make our club successful.
“We have the potential to recruit more staff. However, we do have sponsors that boost our club financially. Over five years’ period, we would like to campaign in the SAFA Nelson Mandela Bay SAB Regional League and after 10 years’ period we would like to see our boys playing in the ABC Motsepe League.”
