ROYAL Bucs defended their Motherwell Football Association (MOFA) Premier League title, after they collected six points in their double header.
Bucs defeated Manchester United 2–1 in their tough encounter which took place at the Motherwell NU 11 Stadium on Saturday. Their opponents, Highland Spurs, failed to show up for their game, with Bucs getting soft points that helped them to lift the prestigious league trophy at Motherwell NU 11 Stadium on Sunday.
Bucs ended the season after winning 14 games and drawing two, while their runners-up, Valencia, also won 14, drew one game and lost one game to Bucs. Bucs collected 44 league points, pipping Valencia with one league point.
At the weekend, Valencia was a major force to be reckoned with. Valencia defeated Young Romans 2-0 and they received soft points from Young Ideas, who failed to pitch up for their last game of the season, which was to be played at Nelson Mandela Freedom Peace Park on Sunday.
