The third Kimberley Iconic Sites Half Marathon, — The third Kimberley Iconic Sites Half Marathon, presented by the Kgosi Galeshewe Athletics (KGA) club, took place on Saturday 12 September, with athletes competing in the 21 km, 10 km or 5 km event. Ambitious Masihleho of the Bloemfontein Striders is the men’s winner in the half marathon (1:04:30), while Patricia Motshabi (Pan African Resources Elite Running Club) was the first woman to finish the half marathon (1:16:46). In the 10 km event, Avuma Pheza (NWU Pukke AC) and Lizandré Mulder (Boxer AC) won the men’s and women’s categories, respectively. Tshidiso Dilosotlhe (Teemaneng Running Club) and Mamosebetsi Khajwane (Lesotho) are the winners in the 5 km event.
